Jeremy was the original founder and project lead of Red Orchestra before becoming the project lead on Insurgency: Modern Infantry Combat back in 2005. Both projects won mod of the year, in 2004 and 2007 respectively, and Red Orchestra went on to win the grand prize of Epic Games’ first ever Make Something Unreal contest. Blum later founded New World Interactive to develop games that continue the legacy formed by games such as Red Orchestra and Insurgency: Modern Infantry Combat. He is a development generalist, focused primarily on game design, animation and AI.
Keith has a life-time full of experience in business, legal and finance. He may not be “in the trenches” developing with us, but he is certainly a large force in the background making sure that the business operates smoothly.
Jonny was a level designer on the original Insurgency: Modern Infantry Combat team (he made Ramadi). Jonny has over ten years of experience creating maps with Hammer and has emerged to become our primary level designer on Insurgency. He specializes in ensuring that gameplay is fun and that the environments look as good as possible.
Mark may not have worked on Insurgency: Modern Infantry Combat with us, but he comes from a similar background being one of the lead programmers on the Black Mesa project. Mark offers an abundance of knowledge and experience pertaining to Source engine and game programming. He also likes math (and spreadsheets) a lot.
Matt too was on the original Red Orchestra and Insurgency: Modern Infantry Combat teams before working in the industry. His professional experience includes being an environment artist on games such as Brothers in Arms: Hell’s Highway, Borderlands, Borderlands 2 and Aliens: Colonial Marines. Matt brings a wealth of professional development experience to the table and is behind the scenes making sure the art style for this game is as consistant and high quality as possible.
Adam is part web guy and part coop developer. He brings years of gaming and web development experience to the table. Adam has become one of the main driving forces behind Insurgency‘s cooperative mode.
Matthias worked with us on the original Insurgency: Modern Infantry Combat as well. He was the creator of one of the most popular maps, Baghdad. Matthias has years of professional development experience and has shifted away from his level design roots to focus on environment art. In Insurgency he has created all of our vehicles and grenades/equipment as well as numerous environment assets.
Andrew was the original founder of Insurgency: Modern Infantry Combat. He has many years of professional experience with web development, photography and journalism which have crossed over into his community management role for NWI.
Nik was the lead animator on the original Red Orchestra where he worked with Jeremy for the first time. Nik brings a decade of animation and modeling experience to the table and has played a large role in bringing the Insurgency weapons to life.
Doug also worked with us on the original Insurgency: Modern Infantry Combat and has many years of experience making levels for various games and engines. Doug’s primary focus is on design and gameplay.
Tom has been primarily involved in providing the direction and content for our music and sound ambience in Insurgency.
Mark is our audio specialist. He goes out of his way to get the best possible recordings for all aspects of the game to make the experience as immersive and life-like as possible.
